The Vapor Trails are pleased to announce that they recently entered Red Room Recording in Salt Lake City to record two original songs written by singer/guitar Dianna Cannon. The two numbers, “The Whiskey Song” and “My Friend Barry (Barry’s Blues)” feature all four members of the group, as well as Keenan Foster, son of the group’s fiddler and mandolin player J. Shawn Foster, on string bass. By late August, as soon as the band finishes mixing the songs, they will be available for download on the group’s Web site, www.thevaportrails.com. Additionally, the band plans to return to the studio in September to record additional songs for a projected CD release.
