Fun facts? I grew up playing the piano, since I was six years old. The funny thing is I remember once, when a piano tuner had the back of the piano open, I thought how neat the inside of the piano was and wondered why you couldn’t play it by just holding the hammers and
hitting the strings. The first time I heard a hammer dulcimer live, and realized it looks just like the inside of a piano (it’s one of the ancestors to the modern piano) and that you play it by holding the hammers and hitting the strings, I fell head over heels in love with it.
